The Old Girls Association
Please find here the June 2014 Newsletter for the Old Girls' Network which we hope will be of interest. We will be keeping you up to date with all the latest news from the School and Old Girls' network throughout the year.
The Old Girls Association is simply a way for ex-pupils to stay in touch and learn about the developments at the School. We aim to support the school where possible and regularly donate to school prizes. We hold annual events and a reunion as well as publishing an annual newsletter and magazine. Membership is free and we are part of the 'Friends of SHSG'.
We would love to hear from any ex-pupils - and if you're interested in receiving our updates, please contact Liz Connolly at SHSOGA c/o Southend High School for Girls, Southchurch Boulevard, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 4UZ or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The Old Girls was formed as a means of keeping in touch many years ago before the social sites and texting took over. We hold social gatherings and reunions throughout the year, produce a magazine and a newsletter, and support the school prize fund. We welcome new members, whether you have just left the school or whether you left some time ago and would like to catch up with old friends. By the way, membership is not restricted to females, we are pleased to have a number of Old Boys on our books who did their A Levels at SHSG! Please send your completed form to the Old Girls' dedicated e-mail or by post to the school. We look forward to hearing from you!
