Monday 6th November SHSG Weekly Gazette

The day we broke up for half term was the school’s 104th birthday and we celebrated in the usual style -  cards were given, cakes were prepared and eaten, Happy Birthday was sung and presents were given. There were two fashion shows one at lunchtime for our World in One Place celebration and the other a recycling show.  The World in One event was joyful and it was a pleasure to see the students in costumes which signified their heritage.

The School Birthday is a quirky event to say the least but it is a day when the school comes together to remember the past and to celebrate the school’s development, continuity and change.  Click here please for more about SHSG in the Weekly Gazette!
