This week at SHSG, students celebrated sporting success, academic challenges, new friendships and exciting school developments. Highlights included the arrival of the new Au Petit Creux catering units, Year 12 team-building at Nuclear Races, the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge and a fantastic SHSG clean sweep at the Southend 3k.
Year 7 students continue to settle confidently into school life, with positive feedback from families following the Welcome to Lower School Evening and a successful joint Year 7 disco. Students can also look forward to the upcoming Zombie Fright Night.
Other updates include the Student Voice Survey, careers opportunities with Norland, mental health and wellbeing resources, forthcoming PE fixtures and fundraising plans to develop Au Petit Creux into a welcoming social and dining space for students across Years 7–13.
