Applications now open for entry into Years 8, 9 and 10 (September 2023)
If you would like your child to experience a grammar school education but missed out on Year 7 entry, you can still apply for places at SHSG. In-Year admissions are open to students who wish to join Years 7 to 10. Applicants must sit an In-Year admissions test, which is held twice a year. Students who pass the test will be offered a place if one is available in their year group, or will be added to the waiting list.
We are holding an information evening on the In-Year admissions process at the school on Wednesday 3rd May at 6pm. Join Mr Carey, Headteacher, and Mr Boney, Deputy Head, for a half hour talk on the In-Year admissions process and admissions tests, followed by half hour question and answer session.
