Exceptional A Level Results!

Southend High School for Girls celebrates exceptional A Level success!

We are so proud to celebrate another year of outstanding A Level results, building on the school’s tradition of academic excellence.

This year’s Year 13 cohort achieved 12% of all grades at A*, with 40% at A*- A. More than a third of students attained an average grade of A or higher across all their subjects.

Headteacher Jason Carey said:

“We are immensely proud of our students. Their hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence have been inspiring, and these results reflect the dedication and personal growth they have shown throughout their time here.”

“We are so pleased to see our students go on to exciting next steps. This year half of students who applied to UCAS are off to study at Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. We are also pleased to see continued success with competitive degree apprenticeships, including with Deloitte and the Civil Service.”

The school also paid tribute to the collective effort behind the success.

“These achievements are a testament to the expertise of our staff, the unwavering support of parents and carers, and the vibrant learning culture we nurture at Southend High School for Girls. We are confident that our students will carry their talents, strong values, and intellectual curiosity into the next stage of their lives, making a positive impact wherever they go.”
