Sixth form and Year 11 media students took part in a photography workshop on Friday 13th September. They had carefully planned images to take and invited other students in to model for them.
We were assisted by one of our ex students Anna C who is now in her second year studying for a BSc in Television and Broadcasting. Her expertise in lighting and floor management that she has learnt on her degree course was really helpful.
We are very lucky to have five high quality DLSR cameras and tripods to use and after being trained how to set these up students also learnt how to use spotlights and natural light to create different effects. They had a really fun experience and also came out with some excellent images for their coursework.
